We have several Head Start and Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) in our area.

Here are some of our favorite videos- ranging from how everyone can be a brain builder, the high costs of child care and the importance of investing in the early years. 

Finding child care and finding affordable child care are a difficult part of being a parent. The Department of Health and Human Services recommends families pay no more 7% of their income on child care. Currently families in Walla Walla County spend between 15%-20% of their income on child care. 

It can be tough to find parenting resources that are evidence based and realistic. These are our favorites. It’s important for caregivers to take care of themselves, so there are resources for family wellbeing too.
