Art & Play at The Children’s Museum of Walla Walla

Great fun was had at the Children’s Museum of Walla Walla when The Mom’s Network and The Walla Walla Valley Early Learning Coalition sponsored a fun morning of painting, playdough and planting on Monday, April 22. The event was free for all and saw some 70 people attend – including two brand new babies – one just a week old, and the other a seasoned veteran of life on earth at three weeks old.

The Children’s Museum of Walla Walla could not be a better host, as the children enjoyed the dress-up area, the store, the sand and water table, the retired Milton-Freewater firetruck, the kitchen area, the play yard, the theatre zone and of course, the crafts. Volunteers from Whitman College were on hand to paint faces, wash little hands and lead the art activities. Every child walked out with a smile and a free book form the Early Learning Coaltion.
